Unlocking the Mysteries of the Divine Feminine: Insights from Perdita Finn and Dr. Gertrude

Perdita Finn's work revolves around the belief that the unseen world is very much real and present in our lives.

Perdita Finn

Perdita Finn is the co-founder, with her husband Clark Strand, of the non-denominational international fellowship The Way of the Rose, which inspired their book The Way of the Rose: The Radical Path of the Divine Feminine Hidden in the Rosary. In addition to extensive study with Zen masters, priests, rabbis, shamans, and healers, she apprenticed with the psychic Susan Saxman, with whom she wrote The Reluctant Psychic. Finn now teaches popular workshops on Getting to Know the Dead, in which participants are empowered to activate the magic in their own lives with the help of their ancestors and is the author of Take Back the Magic: Conversations with the Unseen World. She lives with her family in the moss-filled shadows of the Catskill Mountains.

Discovering the Unseen World

Perdita Finn's work revolves around the belief that the unseen world is very much real and present in our lives. She emphasizes that our ancestors, spirit guides, and the wisdom of nature are always accessible if we open ourselves to their presence. In her conversations with Dr. Gertrude, Perdita highlights the importance of acknowledging this hidden realm and learning to collaborate with it.

The Power of Mothering

A significant theme that emerged from their discussion was the concept of mothering. Perdita and Dr. Gertrude explored how mothering extends beyond biological connections and, in fact, is a vital force that nurtures and supports us in various forms. This profound nurturing energy has the potential to heal, guide, and transform our lives.

Raising Awareness and Connection

Perdita and Dr. Gertrude emphasized that the journey of awakening the divine feminine and reconnecting with the unseen world requires a conscious effort to raise awareness. This includes learning to decipher the messages that the universe offers, whether through synchronicities, nature, or dreams. Being open to these messages allows us to receive the nourishment and guidance we need to navigate life's challenges.

Perdita's Work and The Way of the Rose

Perdita Finn offers workshops and resources to help individuals connect with the unseen world, seek guidance from ancestors, and embrace the divine feminine. Her book, "Take Back the Magic," provides insights into these transformative practices, and her substack offers essays that encourage conversations about the unseen world.

Additionally, Perdita and her husband have established "The Way of the Rose," which focuses on praying for one another's heart's desires while invoking the presence of the ancestors. The Way of the Rose Foundation serves as a community of support and connection.
