Return to your essence
Come home to yourself on the wild Atlantic coast of Ireland — where land, story, and soul meet.
This immersive retreat is a sacred pause from the noise of life, created for women ready to mother themselves with tenderness, courage, and presence. Here you’re not just resting — you’re rewriting how you relate to yourself, your needs, and your life.
Seven days of ceremony, adventure, activation, and community, guided from deep immersion into spacious integration — so the work doesn’t end when you leave.
Held in the private home of
Dr. Gertrude Lyons
For women who feel the call of the ancient feminine
To rest, to listen, and to remember who they are beneath responsibility and expectation. Ireland carries deep codes of the feminine, etched into its land and waters — awakening wisdom that lives in the body, not the mind.
You’re not stepping away from life here. You’re re-entering it — rooted, resourced, and restored.
Sample itinerary
Seven days on the ancient land
Drawn from past retreats. Experiences, timing, and offerings may evolve, with new elements added to support the group and the location.
Day 1 Arrival +
Take your time settling in and let yourself simply be. Nourish yourself as you wish — there’s a lovely restaurant a short walk away and plenty of treats waiting at the house. The gym, infrared sauna, and sea are all yours as you ease into this sacred week together.
Day 2 Opening +
Opening ceremony: we gather to bless this space, set our intentions, and step together into the sacred container of self-mothering. A beautiful beginning to honour what’s unfolding. Dinner at Alpha Lodge, shared in celebration and connection.
Day 3 A pilgrimage to the Mother +
Journey to the Paps of Anu and The City stone circle, where we’ll honour the Great Mother and feel the ancient energy of this sacred land. Lunch in charming Kenmare — “the Little Nest” — with time to wander. We may also stop at Torc Waterfall or Ladies View to drink in the beauty along the way. Dinner together at Alpha Lodge.
Day 4 The edge of the world +
A mystical boat journey to Skellig Michael, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We’ll climb 618 steps to the ancient beehive monks’ cells, pausing for silence, breath, and deep connection with this powerful place. Lunch in Portmagee or Cahersiveen. Bee Beds healing ritual at Saint Finian’s Bay — rest and recharge atop the sacred vibration of the hives. Dinner at Alpha Lodge.
Day 5 Earth & sea +
Visit the Uragh and Kenmare stone circles. Walk slowly, listen deeply, and let the ancient wisdom of the land speak to your soul. Lunch and rest. Afternoon seaweed soak in Sneem — a deeply nourishing ritual overlooking the wild Atlantic. Evening dinner at Kingdom 1795, a truly special culinary experience.
Day 6 Ritual & celebration +
Beach closing ritual: honouring all that has shifted, all that has been revealed, and all you’re ready to carry home. A falconry experience in Killarney — a magical activation of courage, clarity, and power. Lunch at Katie’s Cottage in the Gap of Dunloe. Portrait session at Alpha Lodge to capture the radiance of your transformation. Closing feast, celebrating our journey and our sisterhood.
Day 7 The return +
These final hours are yours to savour — in quiet reflection, a last walk by the sea, or precious moments with your new soul sisters. Whenever you depart, may you carry the essence of this land, this circle, and your own beautiful unfolding with you.

“The land and Gertrude’s powerful guidance created a space that was both deeply safe and radically expansive. I left not just inspired but truly recalibrated. Self-mothering isn’t indulgence — it’s essential, and this retreat is a rare and precious gift.”
